I began writing reviews some time ago after becoming disappointed with the lack of quality review material in relation to games for my two children - both under 5. I found that reviews concentrated too much on detailed graphical/control/sound elements without taking time to describe the experience itself i.e was it fun? Did it make you laugh/scared/excited ?
The gaming demographic has changed significantly in recent times. The Wii has opened up the gaming World to children younger than ever. On the other hand, game makers are targeting ladies and grown men more than ever before. I hope to address these factors with my writing and hope that readers can use the information to make informed purchases.
