When the Wii first came along it was cutting edge and opening up the console industry to various new social groups. We had games for fitness freaks, children, women and adults alike. The amazing Mario Kart appears to be universally popular.
Unfortunately though the Wii seems to be heading into Commodore 64 territory. It seems like each week more and more games are being released, for which the quality is increasingly questionable. I felt it worth mentioning as many of the games are expensive, in terms of games recently reviewed I would put "Cooking Mama" and "Radio Helicopter" into this category. Many don't even appear to have the translated text checked properly.
None of us expect the Wii to contain graphics and sound of the same quality as the 360 or the xbox, but even so some of the titles on offer are painful to the point of embarrassing.
