That old family gaming warhorse - Star Wars - is back in the light this week with the release of The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes for the Wii, DS, PS3, Xbox360 & PS2.
As the name might suggest this is based on the popular Clone Wars TV series and bridges the gap between season one and two. Centring on the mysterious bounty hunter Cad Ban, you get to play as your favourite Jedi including Anakin (not my favourite), Obi-Wan, Ahsoka Tano, Mace Windu (definitely my favourite) and Kit Fisto.
It looks to be an impressive title for anyone who's enjoyed the series and offers some special gameplay mechanics on the Wii version and impressive visuals on the 360 and PS3.
Other releases in Euro-land include a clutch of hits from the past few weeks. Scribblenauts, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days all get releases. All three are well worth getting, with perhaps Scribblenauts being the best for allowing everyone's creativity to come to the fore, even if the controls take a little bit of getting used to.
