Wii Fit Plus is Nintendo's upgrade of the original that brings several new aerobic, muscle and balance training exercises to the table. In this sequel calories can also be counted thanks to the new MET value and the added training plus mode that brings some fun and often hilarious new games to make Wii Fit Plus something very special indeed. You can either buy Wii Fit Plus on its own if you have the Balance Board already, or opt for the full pack if you are new to Nintendo Wii fitness.

Peppa Pig: The Game on the Nintendo Wii brings one of the most popular children's cartoons to the home console and is full of exciting minigames and activities. Playing as either Peppa or George, kids will instantly feel at ease with the simple Wii controls and the mixture of fun minigames means that there's an activity for everyone - even the parents! The easy gameplay and integration with Peppa Pig DS opens up a world of entertainment and education that's snortingly good fun for kids of all ages.

When I first saw this game I was really excited. But disappointment hit as it seemed to be an electronic gardening game encyclopaedia - along the lines of Gardening Mama. But as I dug a little deeper I found all sorts of useful tools to help my gardening know-how. The perfect mom game in my book.

I love gardening but our patch is quite big and with three small kids I don't get the time I'd like to keep it looking nice. My husband does the obligatory lawn mow and hedge trim every couple of months, but apart from essential maintenance it is sorely neglected.

Hot off the presses, here is a sneak peak of what will soon be our weekly iPhone review from Nathan Morgan.

Metal Gear Solid Touch takes a very popular franchise, hollows it out and lives in its shell like some sort of unwanted, dull hermit crab. We're going all gun ho over the next couple of weeks on Touch Gamer and what better place to start examining games with a trigger happy nature than with a name we know and trust from adventures elsewhere, you might ask. Well, plenty, it turns out.

If repetitive, tedious, pointlessly simple and seemingly designed for people who enjoy being patronised, all strike you as descriptions of a good game, then I cannot recommend Metal Gear Solid Touch too highly - this app was built with you in mind. If, as I'm guessing is true of the majority of us, that description makes it sound like a waste of time and money, then I'm afraid it appears that you are simply not part of the target demographic.

It is a pretty well put together game.

Although Wii-Sports Resort Frisbee appears to be something of a novelty, graduating from the beach to the fairway is a revelation. Wii-Sports Frisbee Golf not only provides a whole new sport, but can be played on two full eighteen hole courses.

After it's outing on the PC, Horrible Histories is tailored for the Wii and creates a well balanced family game. It sits alongside other educational Wii titles such as Cosmic Family or Dora the Explorer, but adds a bit more meat to the academic engagement.

Wii-Sports Resort Archery is one of the less dramatic activities on offer in Nintendo's MotionPlus touting collection. But what starts of as a very simple, if nicely honed, shooting mechanic is soon stretched beyond belief into the most challenging of events in the pack.

Having dug into the real world mirroring of Wii-Sports Resort Golf and Wii-Sports Resort Table Tennis I was a little unsure how close to my real life experience Archery would come. I'm no expert, but the simple feeling of control and power of drawing and releasing a bow is still one of my favorite sporting moments.

Diva Girls Divas on Ice (Princess on Ice outside the US) joins a variety of dance-centric rhythm games made possible by the Wii-remote and Balance Board.

Wii-Sports Resort Golf provides something special. A solid real world golfing environment that insists you use instinct rather than maths to make your shots. And the headline is that it works wonderfully.

Playing Golf in real life brings me a combination of pleasures - the great outdoors and serious taxing competition being high amongst them. But perhaps the top amongst them all is the slow but sure bettering of myself. For me, this is a sport I play as much against myself as I do with the others that walk the fairway with me.

Wii-Sports Resort Table Tennis is quite possible the closest I've felt to playing a real sport in a video game. The fidelity of control offered by MotionPlus means I can employ all my real world Table Tennis tactics almost without realising it.

Table Tennis was the subject of much hype early on in the life of the Wii. The mighty Rockstar stepped up with their Table Tennis title on Nintendo's machine. They did what, at the time, appeared to be a stalwart and attractive job of rendering the nuance of (what is often called) Ping Pong to the video gaming masses. Then there was the surprisingly fun Balls of Fury tie in on the Wii and DS.
